@JieyunPan Maybe you can send a feedback to the upstream.

The latest package cannot support that mogan run in wayland. When I run "mogan -platform wayland" in my terminal, it says: qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: xcb.

It's because mogan-bin2026.1.1-1 depends on libx11, mogan-bin2025.1.4-1 depends on qt5-base. But characters are blurred in mogan -platform xcb with a wayland windows manager.

@msun I'm very sorry, there's nothing I can do about it, and I don't use this software. If it's convenient, I suggest you give feedback to the upstream.

@zxp19821005 Thanks for your reply. I use X11 too. The simplest way to reproduce this problem is:

  • Setting the software: Preference->Interactive questions->On the footer
  • Run MoganResearch on terminal;
  • Type something;
  • C-c C-x, type yes;
  • Programe crashs with information I shown in last post on terminal.

In default setting, Proference->Interactive questions->In popup windows. I don't have this problem. The program exit properly.

@msun Did you use X11 or Wayland? I've tested it on X11 and everythins was OK.

@msun Thanks for your feedback, I've changed the libgit's version to 1.8.0.

msun commented on 2025-02-10 11:09 (UTC) (edited on 2025-02-10 11:25 (UTC) by msun)

Dear maintainer,

I have successfully installed the package. However, when I run the program, it complains: MoganResearch: error while loading shared libraries: libgit2.so.1.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I only found libgit2.so.1.9 in /usr/lib/. A soft link ln -s libgit2.so.1.9 libgit2.so.1.8 seems solve the problem. I wonder if it is a proper way to solve this.

@sinofine Thanks a lot!I've fixed it.
