@xcodexif: added qt5-svg. Thanks.

qt5-svg should be added as a dependency

@0000000011111111: background of fields (Address field) is black for me. Maybe you have some custom themes from Qt or desktop environment that break things?

Does anyone else have fields with a white background color, which I think is supposed to be black? Such as the address field.

@whompy: best to ask upstream for a .desktop, but if that falls through, we could add it to the package.

@makeworld: which exact libmonero-wallet package version do you have installed? As of latest update, this package builds and works fine for me with libmonero-wallet

This doesn't work with libmonero-wallet 0.12, I get the following error:

In file included from main.cpp:39:0:

src/libwalletqt/WalletManager.h:6:10: fatal error: wallet/wallet2_api.h: No such file or directory

#include <wallet wallet2_api.h=""></wallet>

Is this a package I didn't install, or is it because libmonero-wallet is using the new update while this hasn't happened yet for the GUI wallet?

EDIT: This page suggests the error is a certain script that is part of the GUI wallet is being run:

I will try downloading an archive and doing it myself, and then building from source if that doesn't work.

EDIT 2: Downloading an archive straight from github, unpacking it, and then running ./ seemed to work, although idk if the GUI contains all the wallet dependencies as well. Any ideas what is going on?

EDIT 3: I think the GUI does contain the dependencies, monerod at least.

To install with latest boost in testing you need to reinstall libmonero-wallet.

New to the package; is the lack of a *.desktop file an upstream issue I should report? I'll be reporting the ntp issue upstream already, just want to check before looking like a doof upstream.
