Glad to see some people are interested in this package only building it since 2012 i have never spoke to previous maintainer.

It does Symen was ok with stock when looking at his patch. Will add him as another maintainer.

You need R to be built with the shared library for the linker to build things correctly.

Thankyou for the update however. Your database will barf because if r-lang missing hence i created my own package not tried the stock R language package.

For systemd i think would need units for the farm start / stop monetdbd start /my/dbfarm then units to stop / start each schema for your. monetdb start schemaname Thats just what makes sense also a mechanism to update which schemas you have with systemd also via monetdb status

Here is a patch to make this package work: https://ptpb.pw/l-Qz Note that the provided systemd units don't work as is.
