@ogarcia finally this was not a bug with the package but rather the arch team implementing the '*-debug' packages by default. @BBArik this is a binary package (like mongosh-bin or slack-desktop) so the -debug packages contains nothing. My advice is not to install them.

The debug package that accompanies this one seems to be in conflicts with the mongosh-bin-debug package. I also had even more conflicts with the slack-desktop-debug package but it reminded me that I wanted to get rid of it already.

@boredland no, this is unique to Arch's electron package. In this case this package comes with its own electron.

Does this pick up some *-flags.conf file, like many other electron apps?

No issue on 1.39.4-1 using cmd makepkg -si manually

Please build the package from source or rename the package to mongodb-compass-bin.

I am getting a segmentation fault (core dumped) error.

After installation, it ran absolutely fine the first time, with no issues. But, after the first run, it crashes every time within 5 seconds.

I tried to run from the shell, but that time it gave this error:

I also tried with other variants of MongoDB Compass, i.e. mongodb-compass-beta, mongodb-compass-beta-bin, mongodb-compass-readonly-bin, mongodb-compass-isolated-bin; I tried all of these, and faced the same issue in all of them.

Can you help me identify, what I am doing wrong?

FYI:

• I have installed mongodb-bin, mongodb-compass, mongodb-tools-bin and mongosh-bin.
• these are versions:
