My bad. At some point I uninstalled it, but if it needs the mpv library, shouldn't you require mpv as a dependency?

Thanks @etrigan63 I'll take a look today to see why it's not finding it, I did install on a fresh Cachy OS install and seemed to work beforehand. I'll get back to you from within the github issue you submitted.

Now it installs but cannot find libmpv.so.2. I have mpv installed.

this went from usable and smooth playback to utter garbage like jellyfin I don't know whats wrong and I don't care to check, something is messed up so bad that the videos that were perfectly fine streaming before via jellyfin web, desktop or the prior version of this are now a stuttery mess that makes me want to uninstall this vibecoded slop and never look back.

Shouldn't the dropped libs (# Drop bundled libs that should come from distro packages) be added in the dependencies ?

moonfin 2.0 is no longer at Moonfin-client/Mobile-Desktop as the repo has been moved and renamed to Moonfin-Core. update is failing with a 404 due to this
