Just downgrade Tornado as @MarcinWiezorek said. Example: sudo pip2 install tornado==4.5.3

Downgrade Tornado, that's what I did.

Is it possible to make this package work somehow? It's been non-functional for quite a while because of the Tornado update.

Since yesterday this is no longer starting as "tornado 5.1" is installed, but mopidy-iris depends on "tornado<5":

"Disabled extension iris: tornado<5.0,>=3.2 required, but found tornado 5.1 at /usr/lib/python2.7/site-package".

It is still required. Iris shows an error if it is not present.

The mopidy-spotify package is no longer required, as I can see in dependencies from pip.

Thanks for updating to iris! I get a 404 when accessing http://<mopidyip>:6680/iris/
