Thanks! Package updated.

The vte{,3}-mosh-fix optdepends should be removed; those patches were merged upstream long ago.

Adopted. libutempter now mandatory dependency. arm arch added to the list.

@jsteel

I am using Arch Linux ARM (http://archlinuxarm.org/) on one of my embedded systems and pretty happy with it (actually Arch Linux ARM one of the most popular ARM distribution), and it also can install packages from AUR, exactly like "official" Arch Linux. I do not see anything wrong by adding arm to the list of supported architectures, if package can be build on ARM and works on it (mosh actually works without any issues). I maintain couple of packages in AUR with arm architecture added and I do not see any side effect of this - for major people who do not use ARM it won't change anything, but for couple of ARM users you will make life a bit easier. It's up to you, anyway - this is just my two cents.

please add libutempter to the dependencies, without it mosh failed to start with following error:
mosh-server: error while loading shared libraries: libutempter.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

ava1ar, this was discussed recently; https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-general/2014-October/029673.html

Can you please add arm to the list of supported architectures?

chneukirchen commented on 2014-01-15 23:39

Added as optional deps so far.

Could you please add 'perl-io-socket-ip' as dependency or mention it somewhere?
It's needed for the starting IPv6 support, see https://github.com/keithw/mosh/commit/6f0669b909b774ed69ada01c0d2a7e19a3bd4b07

Also 'vte-mosh-fix' and 'vte3-mosh-fix' would be nice, as they fix problems with vte-based terminals, see https://github.com/keithw/mosh/issues/325

Thank you!

Hi. Do you think it would be possible to contact the mosh package maintainer [1] and ask if he could rename it to "mosh-scheme"? This is what the project itself is called [2]. May not be nice since he named it first, but this package is called "mosh" in most other distros, and I suspect may become quite popular, too.
