It was a legacy package that was superseded by GObject-based bindings, so it probably was never ported to Py3 at all.

You don't need that package anyway, mpDris2 will access the library through GI instead. Look for Initializing GObject.Notify in the mpdris debug logs.

There is no python-notify package. Neither in the AUR nor in the official repos.

This package is now broken. It is so broken that with the systemd user service enabled I can't even log in via gdm. Please consider updating it.

Hey, I was thinking of making a python 3 compatible package, but are you sure you won't reconsider just updating this one? One dependency being in the repo's or on the AUR doesn't make much of a difference to be honest.

@grawity Support for both python2-gobject and python2-gobject2 is not present in 0.6 (See https://github.com/eonpatapon/mpDris2/blob/0.6/src/mpDris2.in). So this should actually depend on python2-gobject2.
