@Milor123 It looks like that you have an outdated copy of this git repository, since the option 'libplacebo-next' is not in the current PKGBUILD anymore. Do a git pull.

How can solve this bug? I am trying compile using makepkg -i

Getting this on latest builds:

Run-time dependency libplacebo found: YES 5.264.1
mpv/meson.build:932:48: ERROR: Feature libplacebo-next cannot be enabled: libplacebo v5.266.0+ was not found!

There are a few libplacebo releases since the official package was updated. Install or upgrade libplacebo-git from the AUR if you don't want to wait. (Or if you don't use gpu-next, you could remove that flag from this PKGBUILD locally. gpu-next is pretty nice though.)

When I upgrade already installed mpv-full-git package with "yay -Syuu", this package will report error: Feature libplacebo-next cannot be enabled: libplacebo v5.264.0+ was not found How can I solve it?

@EndlessEden I've just checked, and the package is building fine. libarchive check at configure time passes for me.

its not detecting libarchive for some reason
