@RubenKelevra you need to remove mpv-vapoursynth, update the system and then rebuild mpv-vapoursynth.

Another way it to make and manage your local repository (with i.e. darkhttpd) and build the pkgbuild with devtools

Note that is the same every time when you see

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing $PACKAGE breaks dependency 'libXXX.so=' required by $OTHER-PACKAGE

Hm I get this message if I want to upgrade my system:

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)

:: installing ffmpeg (2:6.0-3.1) breaks dependency 'libavdevice.so=59-64' required by mpv-vapoursynth
:: installing ffmpeg (2:6.0-3.1) breaks dependency 'libavfilter.so=8-64' required by mpv-vapoursynth
:: installing ffmpeg (2:6.0-3.1) breaks dependency 'libavformat.so=59-64' required by mpv-vapoursynth

I was about to run an update (pacman -Syu) and got this message:

libplacebo (4.157.0-1) breaks dependency 'libplacebo.so=120-64'

Is there an easy way to get around this?

EDIT: Just realized that mpv was rebuilt against the new libplacebo release.

[SOLVED] Thank you but I had to guess which keyserver to use.

This worked:

gpg --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 8D769208D5E31419

You can also add this keyserver to your user's gpg config

echo "keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com" > /home/$USER/.gnupg/gpg.conf

You might need to configure gnupg to use a keyserver. Check out the wiki for more info

gpg --recv-key 8D769208D5E31419

Doesn't work

gpg: keyserver receive failed: No data

You will need to add the public key to your keystore gpg --recv-key 8D769208D5E31419
