This package is not updated. Recommend better alternative: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/prospect-mail

After installation, I got the permission error because the /opt/ms-outlook-nativefier directory is in 700 mode, so I have to put it back to 755 in order for it to work

Whenever I open the app - for the last week or so - I get this message:

This app was built a long time ago. Nativefier uses the Chrome browser (through Electron), and it is insecure to keep using an old version of it. Please upgrade Nativefier and rebuild this app.

I see the app was last updated about two years ago. Is this something we need to address? Can I help?

Seeing the same permissions issues myself. It appears the /opt/ms-outlook-nativefier directory is getting created with 700 permissions.

Some additional info: The build itself seems to be okay. When building with makepkg and running with pkg/ms-outlook-nativefier/opt/ms-outlook-nativefier/MSOutlook no permissions errors appears.

after installing, I am getting

❯ /usr/bin/ms-outlook-nativefier
zsh: permission denied: /usr/bin/ms-outlook-nativefier

Whenever I try to attach any file to a new e-mail, I get the message:

The following files couldn't be attached: ss1.png. Please try again later.

Attaching works fine if I do it through outlook365.office365.com in firefox. The problem seems to be file access with ms-outlook-nativefier.

Any clues as to what's going wrong? Thanks in advance!

Yes, confirmed. Double click opens a window and quickly closes
