This package is NOT out of date. It will always pull the latest release from sourceforge, much like -git packages. Just install it and the version number in your system will be updated accordingly.

Thanks. I asked to confirm whether the specific reference to https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/mshv/MSHV_270_Full_Source_Code.zip was simply out of date. I didn't want to have to look at the PKGBUILD. Thanks for your fast reply.

Again, please, read the pinned comment. When installing the package, it will fetch the latest source, and that's exactly what it does:

==> Retrieving sources...
  -> Downloading MSHV_2765_Full_Source_Code.zip...

You need to reinstall the package manually once in a while to get the latest version. The PKGBUILD is valid.

sorce https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/mshv/MSHV_270_Full_Source_Code.zip is used to compile? this is not the last one.

Thanks. So, does it make sense to manually relaunch the update every now and then? Because my last automatic update was before today, in 2023.

It will build the latest MSHV release from source, so if FT-2 is supported in MSHV, then yes, it is supported. I'm not a huge fan of FT-2, and if you're interested, this is what Joe Taylor K1JT has to say about it.

I downloaded the source for 2.74 from the site and it compiled it for me without difficulty. I recommend the update to anyone who uses it.
