Recently, after updating, when I run e.g. mu update, I get the error

error: error running script (failed to open '/usr/share/mu/scripts': No such file or directory)

And as it turns out, /usr/share/mu really doesn't exist. I tried deleting the mu-git directory in the paru cache, and reistalled, but I keep getting this. Running makepkg -s also didn't help.

I'm currently at the latest pkgver=1.7.27.r6091

Thanks so much for the quick follow up! I changed a bit the PKGBUILD to be able to build it: https://envs.sh/MV.txt

Thanks, but this should not only be considered but is absolutely necessary now. The old method produces an inavild package missing needed files.

This package should consider switching to meson: https://github.com/djcb/mu/commit/975604d3ee4c9d76d72220802b6b22dc4a958662

autoconf-archive should be build time dependency.

I've just released 'mu' in [Community]. This PKGBUILD would need some fixing: - The info part in .install is obsoleted by pacman's hooks. - 'mug' is not built since GTK is off, so no need for the 'sed' line. - emacs should be a makedep or else mu4e won't be built.

This is missing the dependency "autoconf-archive". It will fail at the build() setup if its not installed.
