It seems msg2pdf binary build is ignored by the package. Have I missed something?

Actually, I was checking and in my system mu-git doesn't install any emacs related file :) Although I have some files in /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp but those are dragged by other packages (e.g. git), which they don't require emacs. I would forget about my previous suggestion (the multi-package PKGBUILD) and I would suggest to make emacs dependency optional as it seems sane enough to me :)

Not really in favor of overcomplicating the current PKGBUILD but you could generate multiple packages from a single PKGBUILD, take this as an exmaple: https://github.com/jimenezrick/ktap-git-aur/blob/master/PKGBUILD But yeah, I see your point why emacs should be required as it is right now :)

Sure, but I'm a little bit hesitant! This package includes mu4e which obviously depends on emacs and it installs multiple files to: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/mu4e/ I doubt that it is sensible to make emacs optional in this package while still installing the files mentioned above. Any Ideas to solve this? Add a mu-withoutemacs-git to aur?
