This package will verify the signature of the source package. The Mullvad code signing key is available here and instructions are here.

@XenGi: I suppose I should have specifically mentioned I am indeed aware of Arch's package guidelines and principles and normally follow them. What don't you get about what I said? I wasn't making a point, just stating a reason for why I'm doing it this way. It's that simple.

@yochananmarqos Why should the AUR not follow the same behavior that Arch packages have? I don't get your point. The upstream is not a package but a software. That's two different things. The software should behave exactly as upstream intented but the package should behave like the distro intended. That behavior is pretty much what makes a distro stand out.

@XenGi: This is the AUR, not an official Arch package. I've personally worked with the Mullvad team to create this package. I keep it as close to upstream as possible to minimize support requests for them.

It's pretty uncommon for a arch linux package to auto enable any daemons. I guess the idea is to not disrupt the VPN connection if it is already running but maybe you could add a check if the daemon is running for enabling it or something like that.

@lightsaber I got the same error. What worked for me was trying to install it a second time (thru Manjaro Pacmac) and it gave me the option to import the signature and successfully installed after.

I get this error:

==> ERROR: One or more PGP signatures could not be verified!

@yochananmarqos: I did not known this. Thanks for the info.

@sawdoctor: If you want to use Wireguard you can wg-quick or this: https://github.com/pmkap/mulvlad , a simple Mullvad client that I build to run on a Server.
