Please install the udev rules file to /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/ by adding this line to the prepare function:

sed -i 's|/etc/udev/|/usr/lib/udev/|g' kpartx/Makefile

You may want to add in that this conflicts with multipath-tools package.

Also the sed line for LIB=lib is superfluous as the only time LIB is used is in make install where you have explicitly set it. If you didn't set it, that sed would only work on i686 systems anyway.

Better pkgver with: git describe --tags | sed 's|-|.|g'

Updated the PKGBUILD. Set the correct GZIP value with setconf. Thanks, antekone.

Seems the build is broken on ArchLinuxes without /bin/gzip. The fix is to either create a link from /usr/bin/gzip to /bin/gzip, or to create a patch before doing the build, which forces the Makefile to automatically detect the proper gzip location.

ryooichi, thanks for pointing out the path issue for when a git repo is already checked out. Will look at it.
