@eyolf I encountered the same problem, and switching from appimagelauncher-bin to appimagelauncher (cuz the -bin one is outdated) helped.

@oberon2007 Could you expand on this? Cleaning up? What did you do?

@arakmar Cleaning up my various fuse packages did help. Thanks a lot!

@oberon2007 I retried again the build on a clean chroot and it works fine. Can you check your fuse packages ?

Hello, I just tried and it's still possible with musescore3-git. It's using a fork, the original musescore3 is not compilable anymore with recent cmake versions

Hello. For a while I was able to install musescore 3 and 4 simultaneously. The binaries were named ‘mscore’ and ‘mscore3’ and I had no problems. Would it be possible to install musecore-bin and musescore3 at the same time?

For now, it's unfortunately impossible to update official musescore packages to 4.4.2 because of the switch to Qt 6.x. Musescore isn't supporting well recent Qt6 versions (6.7 and soon 6.8 in Arch).
For example this bug : https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/24097
That's why the AppImage used by this package is currently stuck to Qt 6.2.

Does anyone know what happened to the
musescorepackage inextra? It has been marked as out-of-date since late August and is still at 4.3.2 despite the availability of 4.4.2. I really hope that @alucryd is doing well; he has successfully updated many other packages, and maybe Musescore is not his top priority. Nevertheless, we would be really grateful for the updatedmusescorepackage.1 2 Next › Last »
