I updated the musescore-bin package with the fix (in the .desktop file). The package now has a -2 revision suffix

I'm not sure what you mean by "it should be working now", I haven't seen any updates (in either extra/musescore, aur/musescore-bin or the official AppImage) and everything is working as before.

For the ffmpeg detection, it was a conflict with the bundled libdbus in the appimage. It should be working now !

In the 4.7 versions (both 4.7.1 and 4.7.2), I can't export to mp4. I have ffmpeg installed, but there's no way I can make musescore find it.

@eyolf I encountered the same problem, and switching from appimagelauncher-bin to appimagelauncher (cuz the -bin one is outdated) helped.
