When I try to install (64bit), I get this error:

==> Validating source files with sha256sums...
musictube64.deb ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

I downloaded the .deb from http://flavio.tordini.org/musictube and checked the key using sha256sum. I got: b9bfd9183705e34d2509738a9b156d1da183dcb4aafdfd951d4b11a377888a2f
I then went into the PKG build and replace the (64bit) key, with the key above and did what menos_16 suggested. It works perfectly.

I'm new to Arch, so hopefully I posted this correctly...

Thanks--modification mentioned by menos_16 works.

change this
tar xzvf "$srcdir/data.tar.gz" -C "$pkgdir/"

with this

tar xvf "$srcdir/data.tar.xz" -C "$pkgdir/"
