I've made this a transitional package to neomutt.

BoySka commented on 2016-12-06 09:28

You're right; I'm flagging this as out of date as a first step of deprecation. I might consider making it a transition package to neomutt in the future. Unfortunately I have no time to do it correctly right now.

ahphaw5S commented on 2016-12-06 08:55

As stated on the git page the project has been depreciated in favour of neomutt. I think it makes sense to remove the package.

binaryplease commented on 2016-10-21 17:30

I can't build the package: this is the output.

system is up to date

BoySka commented on 2016-05-30 23:00

this works for me

Apparently the variable "sidebar_delim" has been changed to "sidebar_divider_char" (see the new man page for muttrc).

artafinde commented on 2016-04-29 11:23

I can confirm the package is building with Duncanla's change on PKGBUILD. This though introduce a weird sidebar which doesn't understand the "sidebar_delim" cariable in my .muttrc. I'll downgrade to the previous until this is investigated.

Duncanla commented on 2016-04-29 02:21

I was able to get the latest version to build by adding the --enable-sidebar flag in the PKGBUILD

artafinde commented on 2016-04-26 18:37

Latest update fails to build on mine

WhyNotHugo commented on 2016-04-07 05:55

v1.6.0.1 isn't building for me right now, I'll update this when I get the proper time to test this out thoroughly.

altercation commented on 2016-04-07 02:06

Looks like mutt-kz rebased to rev match mutt at 1.6. Could you update this to match?

grepfor commented on 2015-07-17 20:55

hotbarrera: You're right, it is listed in aur4, missed it. Sorry for the noise.

BoySka commented on 2015-07-14 21:22

this is updated
it's just a change on version and md5sum

If I understand correctly the new aur4 system, I'd be glad to be a co-maintainer, if that means that we both can collaborate on the git repository associated with this package.

tgirod commented on 2015-05-21 19:38

This won't compile for me with the following error :

==> Starting build()...
Can't exec "aclocal": No such file or directory at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/ line 326.
autoreconf: failed to run aclocal: No such file or directory

Automake is installed, but aclocal is called aclocal-1.11 (no `aclocal` symlink). Am I missing a building dependency ?

WhyNotHugo commented on 2014-12-31 10:12

@derrickcope: Can you try rebuilding/reinstalling? Notmuch was probably updated so you need to rebuild against the newer version.

derrickcope commented on 2014-12-31 06:21

I am getting an error opening mutt-kz after recent updates.
mutt: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

WhyNotHugo commented on 2014-06-22 11:33

@Barthalion: I fixed all the issue I'd mentioned.

Versioned tarballs? Upstream never released any. There were no upstream tags for mutt-kz when I created this package either: the first one seems to have appeared about four months later.

What exactly is the issue you're having that needs fixing?

Barthalion commented on 2014-06-22 11:08

So basically you complained about old PKGBUILD, but you don't use versioned tarballs or git tags at all…

WhyNotHugo commented on 2013-08-10 05:17

Actually, here's a PKGBUILD with various fixes, including:
- Tidied up indentation
- Removed transitive or uneeded dependecies
- Added missing dependencies
- Flags that belonged to ./configure moved where they belong (otherwise, they were ignored)
- Comply with the VCS PKGBUILD Guidelines
- URL points to actual fork website
- Different pkgdesc from mutt

You should also add yourself as Maintainer as the first line of the PKGBUILD.

WhyNotHugo commented on 2013-08-10 04:58

Please follow the VCS packaging guidelines:

WhyNotHugo commented on 2013-08-10 04:56

You're passing arguments to ./prepare that should be passed to ./configure. As is, smtp and hcache aren't built into mutt, even though --enable-smtp and --enable-hcache are there ( is a good reference).

altercation commented on 2013-01-17 02:04

mutt-kz fails with a build error: error: 'AM_CONFIG_HEADER': this macro is obsolete.
You should use the 'AC_CONFIG_HEADERS' macro instead.

BoySka commented on 2012-09-30 10:37

Barthalion, you're right, I probably just copied it from mutt-hg. Will change ASAP

Barthalion commented on 2012-09-30 09:23

I don't get what the hell Mercurial is doing in makedeps.

archman commented on 2012-05-17 19:42

The build fails with
Tried with both notmuch and notmuch-git.

Send e-mail to the aur-general mailing list.

BoySka commented on 2012-02-28 22:53

ooops, that's the wrong one. How can I delete this package from the AUR?
