The new settings should show up in the installed manual (it's built from the source code comments).

As for the sidebar docs on NeoMutt, they're out of date. It was important to get in a lot of upstream fixes, so I didn't have time to update the docs. They're high up in my todo list for the next release.

Would you guys point me to the place where the changes are documented?

I used as reference and it doesn't mention any changes like that.

"sidebar_refresh_time" has been removed. It didn't do what its name implied.

I created a temporary workaround so that noone would notice the change, but that went into the main NeoMutt repo, so it's not in this package.

The Sidebar has some changes from Upstream.

I set:

set mail_check_stats
set mail_check_stats_interval = 1
set sidebar_format = "%B%?F? [%F]?%* %?N?%N/?%S"

To make it behave like before.

The current version 1.6.2-2 isn’t working correctly. After installing, the variable sidebar_refresh_time in the configuration file is not recognized anymore and the mailboxes in the sidebar aren’t refreshed at startup.

As one opens a particular mailbox, only this one mailbox gets updated. New mail is indicated by color correctly in the sidebar.

@visibilityspots, sure, no problem. If there are any other architectures this package successfully builds on just comment here.

would it be possible to add the armv6h architecture by default? I'm installing on a pi and with every update need to adopt the PKGBUILD file manually..

@tsuflux, @lahwaacz
Fixed in git

Due to a hard-coded Curses constant in Mutt, Sidebar lied about its size.
During that lie, someone else told Sidebar to refresh itself.
Sidebar got confused and promptly vanished!

Thanks for investigating.

> set mail_check = 0

Whoa! *Now* I can reproduce it. I shall fix it tonight.

It seems to have been an issue with my config. After some time, I've been able to isolate the option responsible for this - it's "set mail_check = 0". It seems that the sidebar has a problem with this.

Many thanks for your help, flatcap.
