I just disowned the package, since it was flagged out of date and I won't do anything about that for the next 4 weeks. Maybe someone else feels up to it. Otherwise, provided gnome 3.16 hits stable til then, I'll have another go.

I don't know. Care to switch to testing and give it a try? ;)
I did not make the patch itself or was involved in debugging the issue. All I did was make this package so that it was easier for me to use. As soon as 1.16 hits stable and I update my laptop I'll probably give it a try. Though since a running laptop is quite important right now and this could well cause some annoying and time consuming issues I don't think I'll touch the laptop until the end of April, to be hones.

I had that issue too, a reinstall of this package seemed to solve it. Did not really debug it, though. According to my pacman logs nothing relevant changed, so I did not really get the issue in the first place, but whatever... ;)

info: after last update of wayland gnome-shell misses libinput.so.5. I switched to radeon and repacled mutter-catalyst with mutter. Now gnome works again.
