@iyoulzt: You should be bumping the pkgrel when making changes. If you want to stay in line with the Arch extra package, use point releases; i.e. 40.5-1.1 or something.

I'm try to integrate the blur effect for windows, it will cause error in check stage when installing.you can run makepkg -si --nocheck to skip it.

Would you be interested in implementing this upstream?

@iyoulzt

I changed the line but sadly Wayland clients only get rounded after I reset the radius through mutter_settings. If I just open mutter_settings (which is Wayland native) it does not get rounded but I have to change the radius after which it does get rounded. Seems like the event listener you use only works for X11.

But I shouldn't complain at least it works flawlessly for X clients. Thank you.

@fawwr , I have not edited any code about wayland client.

Because I haven't programming experience about Wayland, and no plan to implement it.

you can try download the latest code and edit the line 368, wayland clients will be rounded properly when opening, but no shadow under the window, because it has been cut out.

I edited line 366 to try and force for Wayland clients. Opening any new window will not have the rounded corners until you reset them through mutter_settings. Once you do set the radius through mutter_settings even Wayland native clients will have their corners properly rounded. Maybe some event listener is missing ?

same output in the extra/mutter, maybe it's a issue in upstream package.
