can you just update the nbfc file as it has no shell interpreter definition by default which causes issues on some shells like fish

if you don't understand what i mean just add a "#!/bin/sh" as the first line of the included nbfc script so I don't have to manually modify it, cheers!

Update! :) I am back to maintain this package.

I disowned this package simply because there is no logic for me to support it. I understand that this is "stable" release, but the last release was like 1 year ago and I had so many issues with it, which were proactively solved in development version nbfc-git. I wouldn't recommend installing this version to anyone as it has no advantages over nbfc-git.

See nbfc-git for issues and how to solve them.

@erkexzcx That's the wrong approach. Having a -git package is fine and that can even be the recommended usage, but dropping a normal release package is not appropriate. This should stay as is, and recommend to upstream doing periodic tags. If you don't want to maintain the package, orphan it.

Switch to nbfc-git - this package will be deleted and is no longer maintained. Switch to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/nbfc-git/

Working great on my Asus Zenbook UX410UQ. Thank you

The sad thing - I am on Windows now and I no longer use Arch Linux (just had too many problems with Linux kernel in overall). I can't take a look at it, sorry :(

Hey meanwhile I could solve both problems, please change the PKGBUILD if you agree: - my first problem with fish shell could be solved if the /usr/bin/nbfc file would contain a shebang line: '#!/bin/bash'. I think that would be an improvement for everybody. - my second problem (Connection Refused) went a way when I enabled and started the service, so it was completely my fault. However with that error gone I faced another problem: I couldn't apply a config file. I received an error 'File Descriptor does not support writing.'. Following the github issue (https://github.com/hirschmann/nbfc/issues/100), I deleted the file '/opt/nbfc/Plugins/StagWare.Plugins.ECSysLinux.dll' and everything was working again. Don't know how this second fix can be incorporated into the PKGBUILD (or even if anyone else faces the same problem), but wanted to write it down for reference.

Hi, thx for creating this package. I installed the package but I'm facing a couple of issues: - if I run 'nbfc status -a' I get the following message: "Failed to execute process '/usr/bin/nbfc'. Reason: exec: Exec format error The file '/usr/bin/nbfc' is marked as an executable but could not be run by the operating system." (looking into the problem it might be because I use fish shell, but the next one still holds.) - if I run 'mono /opt/nbfc/nbfc.exe status -a' (or 'bash -c 'nbfc status -a' to get rid of the fish shell caused problem) I get the following error: "Connection refused" (I also tried with sudo, but got the same.) Any help is appreciated.

Btw: I installed it before there was an AUR package from source and it used to work, but today it couldn't start anymore, so I removed everything and tried to install this package.
