Would it be possible to add the desktop entry and icon as in the non-bin package? https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=ncspot#n36

If ncspot is not working for you (it doesn't play anything, just skips to the next track over and over...), then check this issue. You may have to add 104.199.65.124 ap-gew4.spotify.com to the /etc/hosts file.

I've updated this package. I added license file and ncspot-git as a conflicting package. Thanks to cyqsimon and ringo for reminding me.

Packages licensed under BSD license should intsall a license file. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#license
