I have now properly created optdepends for x86_64 and aarch64. Installing with yay should no longer present any issues.

For a complete installation you should run the post-installation scripts:

$ neopo setup

If you have installed visual-studio-code-bin you can install the Particle Workbench extensions with:

$ neopo setup-workbench
