In case of changes/updates to ppp, you will need to re-run chmod -v u+s /usr/sbin/pppd.

It would appear https://sslvpn.demo.sonicwall.com is down (and has been for at least two days) -- anyone have any insight on whether it's permanent or temporary? :(

I'm getting checksum errors ... has the upstream package changed?

@akhilin I had the same issue, but fixed it with sudo chmod 4755 /usr/sbin/pppd
