I have updated it to 3.6.5, but I couldn't retain logfile (my previous scores) also pkg/nethack-git/var/games/nethack/logfile and pkg/nethack-git/var/games/nethack/xlogfile both are empty even after several YASD!! in the current. I'm not sure where the path to logfile is, wiki doesn't help much..

@hisacro: bug reported.

https://github.com/NetHack/NetHack/issues/256

Edit: switched to 3.6 branch until 3.7 is in a better shape.

make: *** No rule to make target 'lib/lua-5.3.5/src/lua.h', needed by 'lib/lua-5.3.5/src/liblua.a'. Stop. ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

I have located lua.h at /usr/include/lua.h, I'm not sure where to point the build path

wow is this game still being developed, I remember being little calling the game "man and dog in 100days, in norwegian language". Nethack was to hard to pronounce i was a child.

Had to hack the game to start it, var/games/sysconf line 119. Gnu debugger it wants (gdb). Good thing it comes with man pages if im going to try it.

Might be one of the first rpg with random generated levels :>
