I agree the patch should get upstreamed (barring distros that package this plugin and run glib<2.38). I just don't have a setup to properly test these changes yet, so I figured I'd lean on a helpful soul. :)

@zer0def; I've disowned the package, but maybe this should also be fixed upstream?

I figured this package needed some love, so I accidentally did this just so it compiles: https://github.com/zer0def/PKGBUILDs/commit/4d620cb3db7250b3d7ad325e962636064f3d14a5.patch
Any active users of this plugin care to confirm whether it genuinely works?

Installed this, but kde5-nm-connection-editor does not show iodine in the add new connection list.
Edit: nm-connection-editor shows iodine, so this seems to be a kde bug: <https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=367655>

Never mind, I just needed to run `pacman -Syu` to get the latest version of NetworkManager before installing this plugin. You can ignore my previous comment...

I can't get this package to compile at all anymore.

I added gtk3 as a dependency (even if gtk2 would work if they would have checked it correctly) and downgraded deprecated-declarations to a warning. However, both are fixes on the packager site, the software maintainer should have better corrected.

the previous error clears up when installing GTK3.
new error:
