I had the same issue as the previous comment. Installing "yq" fixed it. (yq is in makedepends, but apparently that is not evaluated before _get_nextcloud_versions, so the required nextcloud version can't be determined and "nextcloud<" leaves only nextcloud-git and nextcloud-testing.)

I use nextcloud (24.0.2-1) with php (8.1.7-2) from the default repositories. During the update I am now confronted with inappropriate software:

Is this a bug or does it really only work with AUR-Nextcloud/PHP7?
