This app is no longer needed since nextcloud 25.0.0, since it's been bundled.

Maybe this package should be removed from the aurweb, if it's included with the base package? Especially since NC25 is now the oldest supported release of NextCloud?

Nextcloud isn't officially compatible with PHP 8.1, but the version in the repos uses a patch to make it compatible: https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-community/blob/packages/nextcloud/trunk/nextcloud-23.0.0-php8.1.patch

EDIT: Thanks for the quick update!

This app isn't compatible with the nextcloud version in the repos,

nextcloud version or php version?

the github issue you linked talks about the PHP version, and I thought nextcloud is not compatible with php 8.1?

This app isn't compatible with the nextcloud version in the repos, until https://github.com/nextcloud/twofactor_totp/issues/1192 is implemented upstream.

In the meantime it would be cool if this package could provide a patch that just patches the info.xml of the app.

This package is for the prebuilt app, if you want to build it from source, you can check out nextcloud-app-twofactor-totp.

pacman: warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/share/webapps/nextcloud/apps/ filesystem: 750 package: 755

That 750 is from another package that you have installed (pacman -Qo /usr/share/webapps/nextcloud/apps/). It should be 755 anyway, so that you can run web apps as non-root (or non http group) processes. For example, I run all my web apps as DynamicUser=yes

pacman: warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/share/webapps/nextcloud/apps/ filesystem: 750 package: 755

Addition: I figured out that this is due to the recommandation from the wiki to change this folder manually to 750 and has indeed nothing to do with the package here. Sorry for that.

version 3.0.1 of this plugin seems to be for nextcloud 17 only.

edit: correction, it works fine with 16.x, the change requiring nextcloud 17 was after the 3.0.1 release
