@fred118 That is strange. You're the second person to report this, however I just tested it again and the checksum seems to be correct. For the other person, clearing the packet manager (yay -Sc in their case, idk for pamac) cache and retrying worked. Can you try that?

I'm getting the following error on install with pamac-manager (KDE Software Updates):

... Erstelle nextcloud-talk-desktop-bin... ==> Erstelle Paket: nextcloud-talk-desktop-bin 1.0.0-1 (Di 03 Dez 2024 20:59:23 CET) ==> Prüfe Laufzeit-Abhängigkeiten... ==> Prüfe Buildtime-Abhängigkeiten... ==> Empfange Quellen... -> Nextcloud.Talk-linux-x64.zip gefunden -> nextcloud-talk.svg gefunden -> nextcloud-talk.png gefunden -> nextcloud-talk.desktop gefunden ==> Überprüfe source Dateien mit sha256sums... Nextcloud.Talk-linux-x64.zip ... FEHLGESCHLAGEN nextcloud-talk.svg ... Erfolg nextcloud-talk.png ... Erfolg nextcloud-talk.desktop ... Erfolg ==> FEHLER: Eine oder mehrere Dateien überstanden nicht die Gültigkeits-Prüfung! Fehler beim Erstellen von nextcloud-talk-desktop-bin

The checksums seem to be wrong

@Calivi Thanks for the reminder, I was away for a while and then forgot

Version 0.36 has been released. Would you mind updating?

I had to manually install a dependency because I got:

==> ERROR: Cannot find the debugedit binary required for including source files in debug packages.

This solved the issue:

pacman -S debugedit

Then I was able to run makepkg -si and install the client.
