What do you think about updating from simple checksums to gpg-validation? I know Nginx is providing asc files for the downloads, I guess libressl devs do it as well. :)

Wondering why you update this package from stable to mainline, breaking the namingscheme rules. Especially since I've providing an nginx-mainline-libressl package. :)

I'm aware there are several nginx packages, so I'd like to comment on why I built this one. This package statically links against LibreSSL, allowing you to deploy LibreSSL to your webserver, without compatibility concerns around interference with other, untested packages. This package ensures your server has Chacha20/Poly1305 ciphers available, and can score A+ on ssllabs. Other than that, it's a minimal package, and I've removed as plugins and modules as feasible. I've been running my site,, as a test deployment for several days before pushing this package.
