Newly this package uses the gpg-signings of nginx and libressl devs. You have to import their gpg-keys in your local user keyring and lsign it.

just like:

For Nginx:
$ gpg --recv-key ABC
$ gpg --lsign-key ABC

For LibreSSL:
$ gpg --recv-key ABC
$ gpg --lsign-key ABC

Now you should be able to install it as you would normally do:
$ yaourt -S nginx-mainline-libressl --noconfirm

You'll find the Keys here:

http://nginx.org/en/pgp_keys.html

and here:

http://www.libressl.org/signing.html

Current keys seems to be for Nginx: 520A9993A1C052F8 and for Libressl: 1FFAA0B24B708F96

I'm sorry but I have to drop this package, I changed my servers to boring ssl after the CVE-2017-8301 which clearly shows a lack of review of this software.

Hey @Case_Of

this looks like a local permission problem. I'd run those package compiling on multiple machines without an issue with yaourt as well as makepkg and never runned into an issue.

Please make sure, you got the appropriate permissions for the folder and make a clean git clone. If you encounter further issues please report additionally how you received the package and the commanslone you run.

You can't with the current situation. Basically, you would need to compile a separate static libressl library, and point nginx to it during the build. Kind of like two applications in one pkgbuild I suppose.

This package can't be updated.

Thanks for your hint jskier, very sad news though...

FYI, nginx won't make libressl anymore. https://trac.nginx.org/nginx/ticket/908#ticket%20?

1.9.10 is out and libressl stable is 2.2.6.
