The installation went well, but Korean input is not possible in the GTK app and the tray icon is not visible. Is there a way?

This packages requires wayland-protocols as a dependency.

Oh maybe I didn't see it. Sorry for that. I just want to say what you've done is pretty impressive. Never knew an American would update a Korean input package that had been deserted due to the developers' fight.

alerque, they don't have any plans to move to meson again. It looks like they are more comfortable with GNU Autotools. I don't thinkk leaving the meson makedependcy is reasonable. Maybe commenting it out will be better.
