The error appears to be associated with a network interruption or a server‑side disconnect during the Git clone. Packaging changes do not appear to be needed at this time. The package was successfully built in a clean chroot on multiple machines during the last week.

python-setuptools-gettext must be added to makedepends:

I just built it with the standard lua (5.3), lua52 is no longer needed. As a reference: http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2016/q2/250
