Hello wereii, There is a problem with installation (as @pgoetz). Please change 'nxclient' at line 4 and 14 to 'nxplayer' in "nomachine-client.install" file. It works for me and hopefully will work for others too.

It's not fully working for me:

Running NX post_install script ...
/tmp/alpm_fTbxr1/.INSTALL: line 4: /usr/share/NX/scripts/setup/nxclient: No such file or directory
error: command failed to execute correctly
:: Running post-transaction hooks...
(1/1) Arming ConditionNeedsUpdate...
[pgoetz@gecko ~]$ pacman -Q | grep nomachine
nomachine-enterprise-client 8.1.2-1

it's installed, but didn't create a a menu entry under "Other" as it did before. Maybe the script /usr/share/NX/scripts/setup/nxclient is not what you want? Here are the contents of that directory:

[root@gecko setup]# pwd
[root@gecko setup]# ls
install nxplayer nxrunner

izahn, I pushed a patched version that's using the upstream installation scripts again, works as it should (on my machine™) and hopefully will work for others, otherwise get back to me if not.

Everything gets installed in /opt/NX now so the .desktop files don't show up in desktop menus. Also the .desktop file Exec paths are wrong e.g., /usr/NX/bin/nxplayer (which doesn't exist) instead of /opt/NX/bin/nxplayer

There were some bigger changes of this package with version 7.6.2-1.

If you experience any issues please get back to me (here or irc@#archlinux-aur)

Looks like the hash didn't get updated on the last update:

==> Validating source files with sha256sums... nomachine-enterprise-client_7.0.209_10_x86_64.tar.gz ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! error downloading sources: nomachine-enterprise-client

For anyone having issues with NoMachine not using h.264, it's an issue with the included in /usr/NX/lib. Just rename this to or something, and restart NoMachine and h.264 should work (granted you need to have everything else set up correctly too). This error is common when a software program comes bundled with a verseion of libstdc++ that is out of date compared to the one in Archlinux. (looking at you MATLAB and Steam)

@fxd, perhaps it might be usefull to add a command to the build script that renames this file so that people won't run into this issue.

Just recently, nomachine would connected using h.264. After recent updates (either to this package or to ffmpeg), it no longer does. The problem is definitely with clients not the server since the problem starts after a client is updated. (Server is 5.3.10 installed from `nomachine` AUR.)
