Like others, I have these errors when installing. The app still seems to work nonetheless.

Hello wereii, There is a problem with installation (as @pgoetz). Please change 'nxclient' at line 4 and 14 to 'nxplayer' in "nomachine-client.install" file. It works for me and hopefully will work for others too.

It's not fully working for me:
it's installed, but didn't create a a menu entry under "Other" as it did before. Maybe the script /usr/share/NX/scripts/setup/nxclient is not what you want? Here are the contents of that directory:

izahn, I pushed a patched version that's using the upstream installation scripts again, works as it should (on my machine™) and hopefully will work for others, otherwise get back to me if not.

Everything gets installed in /opt/NX now so the .desktop files don't show up in desktop menus. Also the .desktop file Exec paths are wrong e.g., /usr/NX/bin/nxplayer (which doesn't exist) instead of /opt/NX/bin/nxplayer

There were some bigger changes of this package with version 7.6.2-1.
If you experience any issues please get back to me (here or irc@#archlinux-aur)

Looks like the hash didn't get updated on the last update:

For anyone having issues with NoMachine not using h.264, it's an issue with the libstdc++.so.6 included in /usr/NX/lib. Just rename this to libstdc++.so.6.old or something, and restart NoMachine and h.264 should work (granted you need to have everything else set up correctly too). This error is common when a software program comes bundled with a verseion of libstdc++ that is out of date compared to the one in Archlinux. (looking at you MATLAB and Steam)
@fxd, perhaps it might be usefull to add a command to the build script that renames this file so that people won't run into this issue.
