@cdown Fair enough. Personally I tend to look at repositories hierarchically, i.e. official > unofficial > AUR out of pacman 'ease-of-install' reasons. But as the comment is out here now It should make users aware of the potential conflict, which is what I wanted to adress. Thanks for your response.

This project has existed for over six years, whereas the nota from Maui Project only emerged recently, as far as I can tell. I don't see any reason to rename.

This package has a name clash with the one from community, which is a different application to be exact. To avoid mishaps and confusion it might be wise to rename both the package and the /usr/bin executable.
