@dreamkey I'm sorry but I don't use this package anymore. And the last release of the original library is from 2012. I'd suggest to look for an alternative.

Hi, if I try to send a notification with an "audio-volume-*" icon it always picks the ones inside "/usr/share/notify-osd/icons/hicolor". Do you have the same issue? I had to do a "chmod 000" on this folder to see my theme's icons.

You are right, my bad. I thought I had base-devel installed but that was on my other system.

automake is part of base-devel. Read compiling packages guidelines.

As of version 0.9.35-3 (current at the time of writing), this package will not build without automake. Please add it to your PKGBUILD in makedepends.

For me it works. Probably there's something strange in your system configuration. I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about it.

I unisnstalled. Anyway, my ~/.notify-osd is exactly as it comes for default. If you find a way to do it, please send me an email. Thank you

can you post your ~/.notify-osd?

joacoej commented on 2015-05-17 18:02 (UTC)

No, I don't.

Make this test: 1) open a terminal and issue "notify-send test" 2) lower volume Do you see two notifications stacked?
