I'm considering adopting this, but I'd like to ask, what's the reason for splitting up the package into all the subpackages? The non-AUR package doesn't split them up and I am ok with that. I would propose a simpler monolithic package here, since the individual components don't take up much space anyway.

The PKGBUILD seems to be brocken: the pkgver function returs an empty string, if I change the git line like that: printf "%s.%s" "$(git rev-list --count HEAD)" "$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)"it seems to work.

This builds only the old python-bindings. I have hoped that I could give the new soon-to-be-released python-cffi-bindings a test with this PKGBUILD. Which I can't now. Could this be added? THX!

I switched to the github mirror, but it seems to be some commits behind, so I might consider to revert that change. I also removed the now unneeded patch.
