Ah, fmod… got it. I'm fixing it in the PKGBUILD.

ajs124 commented on 2014-04-16 16:55

Yeah. I'm seeing this crash, too. Do you have a patch/idea how to fix this?

ben0mega commented on 2014-04-16 00:46

So I get crashes in gameA.lua on line 161 since this code uses math.mod instead of math.fmod - is anyone getting these crashes or do I have a strange lua version/system running?

There is nothing being compiled in this PKGBUILD, you probably meant love07, the engine this runs on, which is a separate package.

Obey-Kun commented on 2012-11-16 11:58

It can't compile, modules/graphics/opengl/GLee.h:68:20 wants GL/gl.h.
After installing mesa, it compiles well. So please add mesa to dependencies.

ajs124 commented on 2012-11-02 17:31

so? why is this flagged out of date?

archtux commented on 2012-05-02 14:15

@ andy123
I've made love07 package.(https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=58937)
Now, nottetris2 works again.
Change dependency love -> love07

One of the conditions for software to be free is that users must have the freedom to redistribute the program without limitations. Thus, you should be free to redistribute copies, either with or without modifications, either gratis or charging a fee for distribution, to anyone anywhere. Being free to do these things means (among other things) that you do not have to ask or pay for permission to do so. So MIT is a free software license, whereas CC BY-NC-SA is not.

ajs124 commented on 2012-03-12 20:58

why is CC BY-NC-SA "less free" than MIT? i changed the license field for now.

leo_rockway commented on 2012-03-12 20:44

The devs have changed the license to the nonfree one CC BY-NC-SA. Could you update the license field or maybe keep the latest MIT version and change the name of the package to nottetris2-mit? I'd prefer the latter because I value software when it's free, but I'd understand if you didn't want to do that. http://stabyourself.net/about/

Better indeed, thanks.

ajs124 commented on 2011-11-25 16:19

better now?

nottetris2 1-5 update is not working, that wget command just downloads a no-hotlinking message in place of nottetris2-linux.zip:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="5;URL=http://stabyourself.net"><p>Please use the download page of each application instead of hotlinking. You will be redirected to the front page in 5 seconds. You need to have cookies enabled by the way.</p>

Here's a wget command that will allow you to download the file, tricking the site into thinking it's from a browser. Generated from this awesome Firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cliget/

https://gist.github.com/1236616

I'd say it's certainly a better option than having to manually download it, PKGBUILDs should be as automated as possible (unless something extreme like having to upload it to a separate unofficial host or something), so I think this is a better option :)

leo_rockway commented on 2011-09-02 22:33

I emailed the devs of nottetris2 and they put a notice that the code is to be considered MIT. It can be seen here: http://stabyourself.net/about/

this looks shady: http://ompldr.org/vYTRreQ/${pkgname}-linux.zip
I know if you refer to the Linux link @ http://stabyourself.net/nottetris2/, it will detect the request is not from a browser session,
so I would suggest you do something similar to the various humble bundle game pkgbuilds: tell the user to download the file first, then ask for the file location in the pkgbuild.

Huulivoide commented on 2011-08-30 20:31

I did some PKGBUILD cleaning and also cleaned up the
launcher and the .desktop file ^^
