why is CC BY-NC-SA "less free" than MIT? i changed the license field for now.

The devs have changed the license to the nonfree one CC BY-NC-SA. Could you update the license field or maybe keep the latest MIT version and change the name of the package to nottetris2-mit? I'd prefer the latter because I value software when it's free, but I'd understand if you didn't want to do that. http://stabyourself.net/about/

Better indeed, thanks.

nottetris2 1-5 update is not working, that wget command just downloads a no-hotlinking message in place of nottetris2-linux.zip:
Please use the download page of each application instead of hotlinking. You will be redirected to the front page in 5 seconds. You need to have cookies enabled by the way.

Here's a wget command that will allow you to download the file, tricking the site into thinking it's from a browser. Generated from this awesome Firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cliget/ https://gist.github.com/1236616 I'd say it's certainly a better option than having to manually download it, PKGBUILDs should be as automated as possible (unless something extreme like having to upload it to a separate unofficial host or something), so I think this is a better option :)

I emailed the devs of nottetris2 and they put a notice that the code is to be considered MIT. It can be seen here: http://stabyourself.net/about/

this looks shady: http://ompldr.org/vYTRreQ/${pkgname}-linux.zip I know if you refer to the Linux link @ http://stabyourself.net/nottetris2/, it will detect the request is not from a browser session, so I would suggest you do something similar to the various humble bundle game pkgbuilds: tell the user to download the file first, then ask for the file location in the pkgbuild.
