change this /bin/install -m0644 nw/assets/icons/novelWriter.svg ${pkgdir}/usr/share/pixmaps/novelwriter.svg to this /bin/install -m0644 ${srcdir}/novelWriter/nw/assets/icons/novelwriter.svg ${pkgdir}/usr/share/pixmaps/novelwriter.svg
