@jeffska- i *think* i work around that issue now, but a forced install (pacman -U --force ...) should do the same thing. i believe it only occurs on a new install of nquake, not an upgrade. thanks for pointing it out; file a bug in my tracker if it continues.

With the latest set of changes, there's a file conflict with /opt/quake/id1/pak0.pak if one had been manually copied there based on the old instructions: error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) nquake: /opt/quake/id1/pak0.pak exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. Deleting the existing pak0.pak file allows it to complete successfully.

/headdesk sorry, @jeffska- totally forgot to push. showing as 2.5 now! should be good now.

Still not seeing the updated version...

holy cats, thanks for the heads-up, @jeffska! new release! (and apparently i missed 2.4 even- i wonder why all the new updates?) anyways, new version pushed. thanks again!

Please note the following additions: # Bug reports can be filed at https://bugs.square-r00t.net/index.php?project=3 # News updates for packages can be followed at https://devblog.square-r00t.net (If you want an RSS-feed only pertaining to my AUR packages, you can subscribe to https://devblog.square-r00t.net/rss/?category=aur in your favourite RSS reader.) Note that you should still use the AUR web interface for flagging packages as out-of-date if a new version is released; the aforementioned bug tracker is to aid in issues with building/packaging/the PKGBUILD formats/etc. specifically. GPG signature "errors" are explained here: https://devblog.square-r00t.net/articles/a-note-on-using-gpg-signatures-in-pkgbuilds Please read; it's not a bug. Thanks!

heads-up, all- with the removal of the --pkg option from makepkg in pacman-5.x, i've moved this back to a unified package. (sigh). anyways, the sections should be clearly labeled should you want to only install certain components- currently all components are enabled. if desired, i can move these to functions so there's less to comment/uncomment. thanks for your understanding. :/

@peterweissdk no problem, thanks for alerting me to the checksum issue!

@sanerb Works perfectly! Thanks a lot ;-)

@mobo- this fix actually should be implemented in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ezquake/ (and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ezquake-git/ ). i maintain the latter, so i can implement it there (if i haven't already?), but Slash needs to fix the former. (nquake is actually just a symlink to ezquake) anyways, fixed the sha sums and switched the mirrors
