Please stop flagging this package as out-of-date.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_User_Repository#Flagging_packages_out-of-date

Note: VCS packages are not considered out of date when the pkgver changes, do not flag them as the maintainer will merely unflag the package and ignore you. AUR maintainers should not commit mere pkgver bumps.

@nekobuster - I do not develop this theme - I maintain the pkgbuild - ask this on their github

Hi, for some time now pamac-aur has been offering me an update of the package to version 0.r50.386d242. What is this version that is not available on this site? Thank you.

@freefreeno And if you're unhappy about something, you might as well contribute instead of complaining here, this is open source stuff.

@freefreeno This is the wrong place to ask it. I am the maintainer of a PKGBUILD. Report it on the github of the developers of Numix

Could we please do something about the control icons at the top of Dolphin file manager. Also those side pane icons just don't look correct. I am in kde and the icons are fine except in dolphin and then the folders are fine but everything else could use some polish. They would look soo much better using white icons instead of colored for the top of dolphin and side pain in dolphin. Thanks for your work.

@erikdubois Just wanted to thank you for taking over this package, I use it as my default icon pack on all my arch installs.

You can deliver a message in different ways. That is what I am saying. The content of your message can be arranged. Be constructive and respect people's effort.

<deleted-account> commented on 2019-01-09 02:49 (UTC)

@erikdubois: I appreciate your effort, but in some way I agree with @nfnty. The commands you put in git.sh are supposed to be run only by you as the maintainer of package not by users of this package, so why you upload them to AUR? I also agree that commit message suppose to be something useful for the sake of expressing actions being done in that commit not something that we already know like time of applying commit, and please first make all your changes to PKGBUILD and then commit changes to AUR. And finally AUR is not supposed to be a sandbox for testing your codes please respect other Arch users and test your code at your computer, not in AUR, you just made multiple commit with just changing a commented date in PKGBUILD. really ...!!

nfnty commented on 2019-01-08 23:11 (UTC)

@erikdubois How was it disrespectful? You were literally spamming.

You need to carefully read the entire AUR wiki paragraph on how to maintain packages: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Sharing_and_maintaining_packages

A good way to improve quality is to look into how other popular packages are handled. The git push script you use is outright horrendous; making your commit messages completely useless. Start using makepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO to generate .SRCINFO, and don't bump PKGBUILD versions when nothing's changed.

I welcome your input nfnty. But not when it is disrespectful. There is no need for "WTF". AUR maintainers do this for the good of the community for free and deliver service to Arch Linux community as a whole.

Yesterday this package was orphaned. Today the pkgbuild is already updated. And yes the upload gave me problems. So there are now more commits than usual.
