The problem is with "exit("Done!\n")" ad the end of the python script. Exit returns value 1 because as a parameter is a string. Should be used print instead. Reported: https://github.com/numixproject/numix-core/issues/3628 As workaround edit PKGBUILD from: ./gen.py --theme square --platform linux ./gen.py --theme circle --platform linux to: ! ./gen.py --theme square --platform linux ! ./gen.py --theme circle --platform linux That will negate the return value from 1 to 0 which 0 means program exited successfully

For some reason L32 "./gen.py --theme circle --platform linux" does not get executed when installing with pacaur. Resulting in a "cp: cannot stat 'numix-icon-theme-circle/Numix-Circle': No such file or directory" on the "package()" step. Executing the command by hand in the pacaurs cached folder makes the next attempt to create a package a success.

there is no need to flag out of date when generated pkgver does not match, the core updates on a regular base.
