hvksmr1996 commented on 2020-08-22 06:26

when will you update to 0.18?

Good catch MCOfficer, should be fixed now.

pkgrel is 1 in PKGBUILD, 2 in .SRCINFO. As a result, this package is constantly displayed as "update available".

I'd like to co-maintain the package :)

Here's an updated PKGBUILD for the latest 0.15 release. I added libgit2 as a dependency and updated the hash.

@simonsilva I've added a post install script to add nu to /etc/shells

simonsilva commented on 2020-04-24 09:12

With chsh -s /usr/bin/nu -a /usr/bin/shell $USER I can't change my shell to nu because it has not entry in /etc/shells. Maybe the entry should be created at installation.

My diff to get the PKGBUILD working for 0.12.0:

The nushell team is now issuing releases with a bundled version of libssl. I've implemented a custom wrapper to use this instead of the system version to work around the dependency conflict.
