Source and upstream URL gone (404). There is a fork that is a copy of the original:

Not sure what happened but i installed this package and it installed fine. But when i ran it i got a segmentation fault. Did a little investigation with coredumpctl and i couldn't find anything useful. After a some research on the web, i found this website: https://archive.org/download/archlinux_pkg_nvdock with what i believe to be the original binary's. So i installed the latest one with sudo pacman -U nvdock-1.02-5-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz and i gave it a try. And sure enough it worked normally.

So it looks like you have more of less the same package but this one unfortunately didn't work for me, while the old one's from the archlinux repository did. Although it is worth mentioning that i'm using the nvidia-390xx driver and therefor i use the nvidia-settings-390xx version. Maybe that's also part of the problem but i don't know.

Perhaps someone else with the same problem in the future may find this helpful.
