Does this lts branch work okay for kernel 6.12-lts ?

@DrJ nvidia 340xx is not wayland ready anyways, your best bet towards wayland is nouveau.

With the current contents of the repository the nvidia_drm module does not get build. Am I missing something? Background is, that I need to set modeset=1 for wayland. Cheers

@nocturnaltales Won't help you much here. Never used two cards.

But look here, especially at the last comment: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1693327#p1693327

Looks like the guy has solved his problem. There are two links to the Arch Wiki, that could help you.

@TheExplorer yes it's alienware m11x r2 with intel graphic card and nvidia GT 335M. I tried to switch to nvidia only using envycontrol but then my screen just black.

@nocturnaltales Not sure, what it could be. Is it a laptop? Does it have two video cards?

@TheExplorer

(EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (Compatible NVIDIA X driver not found)

I tried nvidia-smi and lsmod | grep nvidia both detects that the driver is installed

@nocturnaltales Look for (EE) strings in it.

@nocturnaltales What does your Xorg.0.log say? Paste it somewhere.
