Sadly I do not at the moment have a system containing a GTX780 or similar to actually test this since switching to AMD in autumn. So kindly let me know if this package installs correctly for you, I can only test if it builds.

Also, hit me up if you want to be made co-maintainer for this.

@LinuxLover471: I just tested the build and install process and it works for me?

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/nvidia-470xx-settings.git
cd nvidia-470xx-settings
makepkg

this builds the package without issue for me. I then installed both of them using

sudo pacman -U libxnvctrl-470xx-470.256.02-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.lz4 nvidia-470xx-settings-470.256.02-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.lz4

and that also worked without any issues.

The advice I can give is to remove the nvidia-470xx-settings folder, and check it out with git clone from here. Maybe there are some issues on your local copy of the git repo.

For some reason, the sha512 checksums for the package nvidia-470xx-settings is wrong, i tried to fix them, but there is a prepare error. It says at line 25, a cd call, that there is no file or directory named with nvidia settings. Please fix ASAP. Thanks.

@SoftExpert: Your last commit makes absolutely no sense. There is no new version and no rebuild is required. The pkgrel does not need to be updated.

also, for the last 3 versions of the 470xx driver, the settings have not changed at all. the only thing if you git diff the release tags is the change of version number. the software itself is 100% unchanged. =)

@Sinyria: Actually there is a release available. I would have updated the repository, but I am not in the co-maintainers list.

I know it's flagged out of date, but there has not yet been a release upstream @ git, so nothing I can do rn. :(
