Glad you got it... yes, you have to be very judicious when maintain a kernel PKGBUILD :)

QuartzDragon commented on 2016-06-13 13:00

I had gone through the vanilla PKGBUILD changes previously, but it seems I missed the commit concerning objtool. Adding that solved my issue. :)

Thanks graysky. I'll have a look at the vanilla PKGBUILD.

@QD - Since BFQ isn't yet released for 4.6.x, there is not official linux-ck PKGBUILD and as such I have not modified the modules PKGBUILDs either. If you're rolling your own PKGBUILD ahead of mine, you'll have to adjust these on your own. Note that there have been some non-trivial changes to the ARCH linux PKGBUILD from 4.5.x to 4.6.x that you should take into account if you haven't already.

@superice - Yep!

Can you add a DKMS version to this PKGBUILD? It would be nice to just have the module recompile automatically after a kernel update than having to install the new version manually.

EDIT: I actually just discovered that you don't need a dkms for this driver. The normal nvidia-dkms driver will build for this kernel.
